The Sub-X features Hornady’s soft Flex Tip, a column of polymer that slams inward to build up substantial energy before connecting with the base of the nose cavity. In conjunction with the symmetrically placed notches around the rim of its jacket, the Sub-X reliably expands within game even at velocities as low as 900 fps.
